This book is not only “A Glimpse into African Modern Christianity” but an invitation to see the downward trend of Christian spirituality in the world today, particularly in Nigeria. Dr. A. Tunde Samuel invites us to re-examine the kind of Christianity that is spreading worldwide today, particularly in Africa. It is pointed out that this is not the kind of life designed for Christians to live. You cannot read this book without being overwhelmed by some thoughts-provoking questions or ideas.

The book reminds us, indirectly, the question asked by Jesus: “When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth” (Luke 18:8)? In addressing the ungodliness of the Last Days, the Scripture says that we should have nothing to do with those who are “having a form of godliness but denying its power (2 Tim. 3:5).

Therefore, a book like this is written to prepare all Christians to know more about the “godlessness” coming in the last days. As you read this book, you will indeed find a wealth of ideas that will likely give you a better sense of direction in your spiritual growth. I am very much pleased to recommend this new book, ‘Nigerian Neo-Pentecostalism’ to all Christians who have the desire to follow the Word of truth. The Lord bless you and keep you.
